‘Beautiful’ Woman Says Her Friends Won’t Invite Her To Christmas Dinner Because She Will ‘Tempt’ Their Husbands

Marina Smith, a 34-year-old woman from São Paulo, Brazil, claims she has been excluded from her friends’ annual Christmas dinner due to concerns over her beautiful looks and single status.

Marina, who has amassed nearly one million followers on social media, says her friends are worried she will ‘tempt’ their husbands and boyfriends during the festive gathering.

The influencer revealed that she first heard about the snub from a friend’s boyfriend.

According to Marina, a WhatsApp group was created to organize the dinner, but she was deliberately left out.

The friend’s boyfriend later disclosed that the group chat discussed her potential presence at the event, with some women fearing her beauty might attract unwanted attention from their partners.

“I’ve been banned from Christmas dinner because the women think I’ll steal their men,” Marina shared with Mail Online. “They’re worried I might tempt their husbands and boyfriends.”

Despite her glamorous lifestyle and large following, Marina has been single since early 2024.

Reflecting on her previous relationship, she revealed that it ended poorly, citing issues with financial disagreements.

“My last boyfriend charged me for a café bill we shared during the relationship,” she said. “He always liked to split everything, which became exhausting.”

While she acknowledges the challenges of being single, Marina insists she’s not desperate for a relationship.

“I’m very selective about the men I get involved with. I’m not in a rush, and I’m not a needy woman,” she added.

However, the decision to exclude her from the Christmas celebration has left her feeling betrayed by her friends.

“Being single already limits my outings and trips with friends, because they go out with their partners now,” Marina said. “But now me being single and beautiful is an insecurity for them!”

The former Miss BumBum winner expressed frustration at the assumptions being made about her intentions.

“I always respect other people’s relationships,” she explained. “I’ve never made advances toward their partners. I think it’s jealousy on their part.”

Marina plans to confront her friends about their decision, emphasizing that she feels disrespected.

“I used to trust my friends blindly, but apparently, they didn’t trust me. It’s a shame because they’re going to lose the best friend they could have had,” she said.

Despite the conflict, Marina remains determined to enjoy her holiday season.

“I hope they don’t change their minds and invite me, because the answer is no!” she declared. “At this point, I’d rather spend Christmas alone at home. Yes, I’m a beautiful woman, but that’s not a reason to leave me out.”

The model also defended her personal choices, stating that she dresses and wears makeup for herself, not to attract attention.

“The problem isn’t with me. It’s with the men who think I am ‘too beautiful to be real,’” she said.

While she admits the situation has hurt her, Marina believes the ordeal has revealed who her true friends are.

For now, she’s content spending the holidays on her own terms, free from unnecessary drama.
