“6-second Pumpkin Seed Hack” Transformed My Life!

At Age 53, I was 5’6 and 225 Pounds. If anyone told me I’d be hiking the Sugarloaf Mountain Trail in Boulder in 6 months, I wouldn’t have believed them. But I did that yesterday!

When my husband and I were younger, we planned to move to Boulder. We love the great outdoors and had always dreamed of living so close to hiking trails that we could go every weekend!

But I ruined our plans.

After all, I’ve given birth to 3 beautiful children, and each one added about 20 to my overall size. After every birth,  I felt heavier and more tired.

Looking in the mirror filled me with disgust and shame.

It didn’t help that I love delicious food. But at 53 years old, healthy food isn’t exactly my priority.

My grandchildren didn’t want me to play because they knew I couldn’t keep up, and it wasn’t fun for them.

My friends didn’t invite me to do anything fun because I couldn’t even walk 30 steps without panting.

My husband began hiking alone because he’d have to ask hikers on the trail to help get me back home.

The worst part is that I saw it when he looked at me. I know he loved me, but I looked nothing like the woman he fell in love with. And I couldn’t blame him.

One day, it all changed…
